Rental Terms and Conditions
The normal rental period is for a maximum of 3 days. Items are to be picked up (by appointment) by 5 p.m. the day before your event date and returned (by appointment) by 10 a.m. the day after your event. All items will be cleaned, packed, and ready for your pick up at your reserved time. Extended rentals are also available at an additional cost.
1. Customer shall use all property in a careful and proper manner, shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and shall return the property in the same condition and good repair as when received. Customer hereby assume all risk of loss and damage to the property from any cause whatsoever.
2. Responsibility of the rentals remains with the customer from the time of pickup/ delivery until the time of return. Customer agrees that all rentals are protected from weather at all times and secured when not in use.
3. A down payment of 50% of the total Rental Agreement is required to reserve your date and items selected. Please note: ALL DOWN PAYMENTS to reserve your items are NON REFUNDABLE. The remaining 50% of the total rental agreement must be paid 10 days prior to event date. In addition to the remaining balance due, a damage deposit of 25% of the total or $100 whichever is greater will be required. Damage deposit must be a separate check and will be held to cover the cost of any damages incurred to the items while in your care. If all items are returned safely without damage, your check will be returned to you upon receipt of items.
4. All rental items must be returned to Plush Home and Fashion within the rental period specified on the contract for services. Customer will have extended rental charges of 150% of rental fee assessed for each 24 hour period it is late. If items are not returned within 4 days of the “Drop Off” information date listed in the contract for services, such failure shall constitute an unauthorized taking and Plush Home and Fashion may consider such items stolen and take all steps necessary to recover said items, including charging the customer at cost price thereof, and shall be due upon billing in addition to the rental charge.
Rental Requirements for Pick Up
Rentals must be picked up in a secure vehicle. Some larger items may require a truck. If you are renting large items, please bring tie downs to secure the items. Protective sheets or material must be used to properly transport items.
Delivery Fee AND/OR Pick Up Fee
Refunds
We offer delivery and/or pickup service for the following fees and must be agreed upon in advance for scheduling.
$100 per pickup/delivery within 50- mile radius.
Additional $25 per pick up or delivery trip plus $.50 per mile for destination over 50 miles.
There will be no refunds or credits issued for cancellations of event, inclement weather, or for any items that have been reserved but unused. Please review your items carefully on the Contract for Services. Once items are agreed upon, they cannot be cancelled.
